I've read varying reviews talking about the difference in how you mount this bar. I bought the 16 inch to put beside my elderly moms bathtub. She lives with us which is important. Unlike some if the dissatisfied customers, I actually wanted the standard install version instead of the one that required a circle saw. I can understand why others would want that extra peace of mind.This one came with screws, mounting plates and covers. Like another reviewer mentioned buying Bugle screws is the way to go. Having built our house, I knew where the studs were at and had the bugle screws for installation. It took maybe 10 minutes to install and works perfectly. Excellent product.
