These are wonderful headlamps which we installed on our pontoon boat at the front edge. The only and main problem was the bracket shape and how it screws into the one groove that is the only option. Then the lights shine downward right in front of the pontoon so we cannot see very far ahead n the water. - which might be a good angle design for the grill of a Jeep SUV where they install higher up but useless for a pontoon.They state these are adjustable but really only about an inch and the angles of the steel bracket will not work for our purpose no matter how you rearrange them. The steel bracket is thick and not easily bent.The design should allow more than one position where the screws are in the little groove - or include more bracket options to allow for the light to shine straight forward when attached to the floor of a pontoon boat. It is not easy to find brackets at the hardware store or online that work with the bad angle design, but I found one at Menards that is about 3 inches and sort of works. I guess we will have to buy a big LED light bar for the roof to really shine ahead.. The quality and value of these headlamps is otherwise wonderful.
