I would have given this 5 stars but....I believe packaging could be improved to protect the rail- bubble wrap the ends would have been better than paper. I don't think the carrier read the "Fragile". Mine came with a dented end ( which required me to use a pair of pliers and re-form so the cap could go on- resulting in a functional but scratched surface) and one smallish dent in the body of the tube ( which I made the "floor" side so it wouldn't be seen) and several scratches deep enough to etch the surface through the polished brass. I didn't want the hassle of returning it and waiting for a new one. A little more packaging would have gone a long way. Its a fine product and it looks great with a little "hiding" of the flaws. I went with an extra bracket to increase the installation strength. The brackets are very substantial.
